Many of you may have heard this from back when it originally aired on National Public Radio in fall 2004, but if you have not I think you will greatly enjoy it. http://www.npr.org/templates/story/stor ... Id=4187199
Diana discusses with Steve Inskeep her creative process and her collaboration with Elvis C, and she also performs several songs in the ***extended web-version*** of the interview (BE SURE TO CLICK ON THE EXTENDED VERSION LINK - IT GOES ABOUT 30 mins). Even as she give a performance interview to be heard on the radio by millions, she fiercely guards and protects her privacy. Very neat, and almost as fascinating as hearing or seeing her perform live in person. Hope you enjoy,

-Chris S.

And from Piano Jazz, an NPR program, from Oct 2006

An hour-ish long interview and set with Diana singing 6 weeks prior to the twins' birth. Very nice, indeed.

What emerged was The Girl in the Other Room -- Krall's debut as a songwriter.
