Up on the Chart Top: A Seasonal Music Avalanche

A front page story in today's Post. The story (and this quote) is just below the fold:

Working in a studio made faux-festive by a prefab Christmas tree dragged out of somebody's attic, the icy-cool Krall, backed by the Clayton/Hamilton Jazz Orchestra, dashed off playful versions of various secular classics, including "Let It Snow," "Winter Wonderland," "The Christmas Song" and "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town."

Would have been nice if Santa did come to town. ...

"Time, who's stings tangle, tear, are woven as a fabric. Those most reveared by the heart may untangle, be mended and rewoven by a Higher Hand...." What else need be said?

Life is all 'little strings.'

L'album était merveilleux et vibrant. Un plaisir.
