New Yorker-October 9th Issue
I saw in the most recent "New Yorker Magazine" that there is an advertisement in which Diana is posing with her Rolex watch, while lending on a piano. It's a beautiful photo. It reads:
Knowing The Rules
Makes Her a Schooled Musican.
BREAKING THE RULES
Makes Her a Jazz Musician
This time my firends, she is own her own and three years ago or so,
had her photo with Tony Bennett. It goes on to say the she has the respect of old school aficionados. Her place in jazz history is among few who not only speak the language fluentlly, but also rewrite it. Night after night.
Way to go Diana!!
