Mr. & Mrs. Mapache are still the leaders as far as I am concerned.....

With the latest show this year in Las Vegas added, I have been to 13 shows and had the pleasure of going backstage 6 times now. I did save all the tickets and backstage passes - and even the picture of Diana and I in Vancouver - and they are all framed together along with the signed poster that I got from the fan club many years ago. I have it hanging on the wall of my office along with all the other signed memorabilia I have collected over the past few years.

Some of my colection now includes the guitar signed by Roy Orbison I got in Las Vegas, the Beatles "Butcher" LP cover framed with the signatures of all 4 Beatles, the Sinatra LP "Ring-a-Ding-Ding" signed by Frank, Dean Martin & Sammy Davis Jr., the "Bookends" LP signed by Simon & Garfunkel, "Ladies of the Canyon" signed by Joni, an acoustic guitar signed by Carol King, the LP "Woodstock" signed by all of Jefferson Airplane, all of The Who, Crosby Still Nash & Young, and Paul Butterfield, the "Sticky Fingers" LP signed by The Rolling Stones, "Pet Sounds" signed by The Beach Boys, a couple of CDs and a picture that Karrin Allison signed for me in LA, and various individual CDs that I have had signed over the years.

It's fun to have all of that stuff on the walls of the room as I play on the computer or listen to music....

Only when you have the $40,000 "Freewheelin' Bob Dylan" (original "360 Stereo Sound" pressing with 4 deleted tracks) signed by Bob...and the jersey Jackie Robinson wore on April 15, 1947 (autographed of course)...AND Walt Disney's brain in your freezer, will I be impressed. That's also when I break into your house.

I'm kidding. Sounds like you've got quite an autograph collection there.

I hope it didn't sound like bragging - the pieces I have are just special to me and bring back a lot of good music memories..... I will never part with any of it - my kids will have to worry about what to do with it all one day !!

BTW, how did you know I had Walt's brain in the freezer (signed of course )........

Bud, If you attend more than one show next spring, you'll at least be one gig closer. It pains me, but as long as I don't get carried away during the pre-sale (I often do), I think it'll just be Costa Mesa in April for me.
