Where are the U.S. West Coast shows?!?!

Without T-Bone's interference and studio trickery, this is going to be some fantastic live music. The Jazz Nazis might not like it, but so what? They don't like DK anyway.

Am I the only one that's loving this album? So far, I think it's only Gundy that's on board. Bud?

I do love this album.................more and more! Hopefully we'll get the west coast tour this next summer.......................I hope!
I do love the extra tracks which showcase just Diana and the piano for the most part. I'm humming several tunes from this album throughout the day so it must be good!

Just snagged four tickets to Strathmore. Row D orchestra! Kind of wish I'd only gotten two because I'm not positive how the other two tickets will be used yet, but I kind of got carried away

Row D Orch...nice! Bud, are they doing the ridiculous, premium ticket packages this time around? Haven't checked because no West Coast dates announced/on-sale yet.

Yes, Gundy. This record gets better with every listen.

I am still waiting for Bud to profess his love for it. My issues with T-Bone's production aside, this is GOOD stuff.

Two tickets and Bud-chauffered transportation to the show.
Two round-trip airfares to godforsaken Virginia.
All expenses-paid lodging/dining/booze at Bud's Inn & Suites.

How much you wanna bet I don't win?

Got a DK.com email this morning. A dozen dates added to the U.S. late summer/fall leg. Pre-sales Thursday. Check it out.

Humphrey's in San Diego on a Fri night -- I'm there! Please, Artistdirect/DK.com, don't F us hardcore fans like you did last year with the outrageously overpriced, bullsh*t VIP tix. I will slam you on this board endlessly.

Love,
Ming The Mecriless.

Humphrey's sure is tempting. Have quite a few friends in SD!

When I got my pre-sale tickets for Strathmore, there weren't any VIP options.

24 hours from now I should be nearing the finale of my 16th DK concert!

Don't lose hope, Gundy. Looks like there's a pretty big gap between the end of the European tour and these Sept dates.

I got some 9th row San Diego tix, on the so-called "bad side," two seats off the inside aisle. Not great, but not bad either. I'm happy. The first few "quick pick" seats I pulled were in the center section, but WAY back.

Also happy to see artistdirect has stopped with the VIP ticket nonsense.

Not happy with the screwy artistdirect pre-sale website. After a few ticket searches, and clearing my shopping basket each time, I'd get an "all tix in shopping cart" message, and it wouldn't allow me to do another ticket search. Ok, so I go to my shopping cart, and of course it's empty. What the heck?

RE: Los Angeles Greek Theatre.
Granted, I searched for these tix AFTER quickly completing my San Diego purchase. Ten minutes after the on-sale time, the best seats I'm pulling are at least 25 rows from the stage. For $140 each? I don't think so.

Final gripe. This is partly my fault. When I got the pre-sale alert email, I should've immediately gone to the San Diego venue's website. Why? The general Ticketmaster on-sale (with an interactive seating-selection feature) has already been underway....before the DK.com pre-sale. Aaaargghh.

NOW mapache is a happy DK fan! A full hour after the pre-sale began, I said what the hell, and went back to search for Greek Theatre (Los Angeles) tix. And what pops up? First row behind the orchestra pit, on DK's so-called "good side," a pair of seats directly on the inside aisle. This puts me about, what, 6 rows back in a primo viewing location? I couldn't believe it, and did a double-take when the row/seat numbers appeared.

Wow. I guess when it comes to these pre-sales, you should never give up searching.

All that said, in exactly 1-hour I've managed to drop $540 on Diana tickets. Ouch.

Congratulations on your good fortune for landing prime seats, mapache! I didn't try for any of the pre-show events due to potential scheduling conflicts during Baltimore (and San Diego, which would have been a stretch in any case). Hopefully some additional West Coast shows are being teed up.

Feel your pain about the big bucks, though. The tickets I had for Wednesday were $140 each.
