This sounds wonderful keep me posted if anything solid gets planned. My wife and I would love to meet everyone and if possible Diana herself.

Firstly, I can't see her staying in Buffalo overnight.
The only way to do this would be to wait until her tour sked comes out, then pick a date on it to rendesvous.

Does anyone know when more appearances will be announced? The only appearance in the United States listed on her website is in Aspen CO I think in June.

As far as I know, no one knows if/when Diana will do more USA dates - ( other than maybe Michelle, and she's not talking ! ).... I am hopeful that after the new CD is released, Diana might tour some selected USA sites, but it appears that maybe she is taking a well deserved break from her hectic schedule of the past few years........

I can be patient..... up to a point...... then I am going to need a live DK fix !!! .....

Jdf, why don't you get yourself on a plane and go to Aspen ? It isn't that far from Oregon...

I looked into that and for what its worth here's my 2 cents....

First, I am unfamiliar with the venue and could not find anyone else who could describe it to me..... from the seating chart, the place looks HUGE and getting good seats was a problem. At this point, since I have seen Diana live many times, the venue and how good my seats are is a big factor.

Next, considering the expense of travel, lodging, etc. and having looked at the Festival's lineup, I would have wanted to see Jamie Cullum & Lizz Wright also who are appearing the night before Diana. That would have added to lodging and ticket expense.

Third, I like to go with someone - not just by myself. The person I would have most wanted to go with could not work a trip like that into her schedule.

So, I have opted to wait and see what develops later on this year or next with Diana's schedule.....

That's more information that you probably wanted or needed to know, but .... you did bring it up......

No it's not more than I wanted to know, I didn't expect anything in particular. I am just happy with some response.

Sorry your friend can't make it. And I agree, if it is a huge venue then the seat is important. Huge venues are dreadful.
