Michelle, if you ever happen to read this, send the big sis over to John and Jessica's "deluxe living room", will ya?
;)
For those of you who have no clue what I'm on about - Radio Deluxe is a syndicaded radio show hosted by John Pizzarelli and his singer wife Jessica Molaskey in the tradition of 1940's radio broadcasts heavy on songbook standards and sprinkled with fun anecdotes. We know Diana loves radio, and this program feels like it was tailor-made for her. Much like Prairie Home Companion or Stuart McLean's Vinyl Cafe, for those familiar with the CBC. Today's show featured Tierney Sutton as guest, and last week they had a Rosemary Clooney special. You can listen to some archived shows here:

On this week's show John & Jessica played tunes from the new Tony Bennett Duets album, including the one with Diana - The Best Is Yet To Come. You can hear it about 1 hour 12 minutes into the show.

Speaking of John..... I recently got his newset CD of Sinatra songs backed by the Clayton/Hamilton Jazz Orchestra.......

While I love the arrangements and the backing...... at this point I personally can't say that I am a big fan of John's voice...... it may still grow on me, but that's the first impression for me.....

Anyone else hear it ???
