Oh isn't it fabulous??!!!
Laila is such an amazing talent, and a great gal, too. (Plus, she plays with Larnell Lewis, who's a gent as well!)
This CD has been getting rave reviews across the board. I am so happy for her!

Liala was kind enough to sign a copy of her latest CD for me.... I am enjoying it very much.... I just wish she would tour down into the Pacific Northwest so I could see her live again.... I keep asking.... maybe in 2008 ???

I went to see Suzanne Vega in concert this week and Laila was playing keyboards! She's on tour with Suzanne until January, I think. I got a chance to chat with her after the show, and turns out she's moving to NYC soon - this is the big time now! I predict some Grammy awards in this girl's future. And near future, too.

Laila is now part of Sting's band - in addition to having her own new CD in the works.
