Monterey Jazz Fest 50th Ann All-Stars Tour
Posted: 11 Mar 2008, 04:57Anyone catch this? Its coming to a close, but I saw them the other night. What a great show! Featured James Moody (Dizzy Gillespie band alum), Terrence Blanchard, Benny Green (amazing pianist, has recorded with Russell Malone), Nnenna Freelon on vocals, Derrick Hodge, and Kendrick Scott. They played over 2 1/2 hours! The whole concert was about 3 hours with a 20 minute intermission.
