Actually, I'm in San Francisco attending Macworld. Got lucky and won a User's Conference pass, so here I am (of course, it probably destroys my chances of winning anything DK related!). The pass made me eligible to attend the keynote, if I got in line really, really early. However, when I made my plane reservations I figured it would be a Steve Jobs keynote, which would have been impossible to get into. As it turned out, Steve didn't do the keynote, so maybe I could have sneaked in. Anyway, I didn't even try - I was on a plane during this one.

Tony comes on at the very end, right around the 1 hr 27 minute point. He sang The Best Is Yet to Come, and, well, I'm sure you can guess the closing number!

I know, I know! (Waves hand frantically in the air.) Is it "New York, New York"? :D

Gee, how'd you guess?? :aaah

By the way, the musicians who play at the Keynote are just as much a secret as what the products are that will be announced. A particular Steve Jobs favorite has been John Mayer.

Finally, I should give credit where credit is due. I won my pass from Shawn King at Your Mac Life show. He has a live program on the Net every Wednesday night. I was looking around for him at the Expo so I could thank him, and I finally ran into him about 15 minutes before I had to depart the event for good! It was pretty crowded and things are spread out, so it was very fortunate.
