Brad Mehldau

I`m wondering, is anyone listening to Brad Mehldau?
He`s last cd „Live in Tokio“ is really something…
In my opinion, maybe he`s the best „young“ pianist right now… :cool:

Yes!!!
Brad is wonderful, as is, in my books, Geoff Keezer.
I wouldn't go around ranking people as 'best' or 'runner-up', but both are definitely at the top of my list.
All of you not familiar with these guys should really take a moment to check them out.

I believe he also did some of the piano accompaniments on the CD for "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil." Good stylings!

Aha! See - I told is ya this Geoff Keezer is no small potatoes! :)

Attending Keezer's final set at New York's Village Vanguard last October were an enthusiastic caucus of jazz artists - Diana Krall, Christian McBride, Ron Blake and Ingrid Jensen among them...
