I didn't know what to expect from Bacharch's anti war CD, but it was excellent. There were 11 tracks with a jazzy feel to many compostions, and guest appearances by Elvis Costello, Rufus Wainwright and Chris Botti. I just discovered Chris Botti and like his music so much. He looks so young.

I bought Chris Botti's CD "When I Fall in Love," and I just love it. I think I'll buy Burt Bacharach's new CD, too.
I know there's a thread here somewhere about Michael Buble, and I recently bought his latest CD with "Quando, Quando" on it...smooth as silk! I love the duet with Nelly Furtado.
You will also love Chris Botti's "To Love Again"

I also just discovered Chris Botti. This second cd is superb.
Paula Cole has a wonderful voice, so does Jill Scott on Good Morning Heartache. I was lucky enough to get a poster of Chris from Sony when I ordered this new cd. He is so cute.

I guess I first started to pay attention to Botti thru Sting..... Chris has played with him many times. And the cut with Sting on the new CD is wonderful. I have tickets to see Chris next year when he plays in Portland with the Oregon Symphony...... I am very much looking forward to it !!!

Has Diana ever played with Sting? Now THAT would be a great thing to listen to.

As far as I know Sting and DK have never hooked up on a song...... it would be something however !!!......
It kind of brings back memories of the 'Two for the Road' Tour where Diana was teamed with Tony Bennett.... That was right around the time I first discovered Diana and that tour played the Hollywood Bowl in LA..... I did not go (stupid me !)..... instead I saw her early that same year (I think it was the same year - 2000?) for the first time at the Orange County Perfoming Arts Center....
There was a clip from the David Letterman show on Paul Nish's old board that was during that Tony Bennett tour - luckily I have it burned onto a CD..... wait, I didn't just confess to something unlawful did I ????
