Who else does a cover of Elton John's Border Song?

Listening to Jazz91.1FM tonight on my way home from the studio... My ears quickly picked up on Border Song which had just started. To my disappointment it wasn't Diana and in fact, was only an instrumental. There was a little scatting during the end, but it was a man's voice. Anyone know who would cover Border Song besides Diana? I found it strange.

Eric Clapton has recorded it. Did it sound like him?

No. This was definitely a jazz rendition and played on Jazz91.1FM. Lots of piano work and quite a bit of bass.

On the iTunes Music Store, Ted Howe has an album called "Elton Exposed: Revealing the Jazz Soul of Elton John." The 30 second clip of Border Song sounds to me that it might be what you heard:

I don't have iTunes, but I was driving in my car at 7:12PM, so I'd have to say you're both right. Thank you.

I don't have iTunes...

Hopefully you're aware that iTunes is free and cross-platform?

For buying music (and some limited video) online, it seems to be best thing around...

Well, since I don't buy music online and I hate to add yet another semi-useless program to my hard drive, I've managed to live without it.
