I agree with the article, too. I really appreciate how Diana conveys so much emotion in such an elegant way. And I use "elegant" in the sense of only just enough and no more. To me, it's similar to writing. To convey a thought completely in an interesting way yet with the fewest possible words -- just enough, not too many -- is a real art. I'm really tired of seeing so many entertainers going "over the top," whether they're overly exaggerated dance moves, over-the-top bad behavior, or singing extra notes just to show off a vocal range instead of singing them to convey the meaning of the song. In my opinion, so much these days is excessive, so it's a joy to experience someone who matches the medium with the message as well as Diana.
