If its a really bad funk, Diana Krall's version of Count Your Blessings Instead Of Sheep helps me get by. That has to be one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded and it does remind you that even when you are at your lowest there are things that are good in life.

I always love listening to Cirque du Soleil music when down in the dumps - there's something 'other-worldly' and magical about it. Benoît Jutras' stuff in particular. Also, Jorane - a Quebecois cello player and vocalist (who, incidentally, has been known to perform in Cirque shows). Her music is just so original, and uplifting - I don't think there's a particual genre to her work, it's so unlike anything else.
