I just set my Tivo to record both, and according to the guide, the 30th has Adele, so that would be ok too.

One hard-working woman!
Looks like she got on the plane right after having presented at the Junos (Elvis had said in an interview she had to leave right after the show) and went straight off to do Letterman after landing in NYC!

Nice performances on both Regis&Kelly and Letterman. But sadly, no interviews. Typical U.S. network BS.

By the way, is that Christian McBride on bass in those appearances? Couldn't tell on R&K, but I'm pretty sure that's him on Letterman.

I assume J Clayton will play bass on the tour???

It was Robert Hurst on bass on Letterman. I'm pretty sure it was him on R&K too, but I'm not absolutely positive. It might be a preview of the tour - hard to say for sure.

...can't say I was knocked-out by the tune, but DJK's delivery was excellent.

Beats the heck out of her performance at the WH earlier this year...

Hurst. Right. I feel stupid...again.

Hey, whatever happened to Ben Wolfe? He played bass on a few Love Scenes and TLOL/WILYE tours.

I love Anthony, but am I alone in wishing Russel Malone would come back? His bluesy-swing style doesn't fit the QN tunes, but maybe somewhere down the road....?

...I wish she'd do more music like on the albums Russell Malone was on.

Fact is, it's her band, her selection of tunes, etc. I'm not sure having Russell Malone
play guitar would make a Hell of a lot of difference.

Just for the record, the first time I saw DJK live in '98-he was the guitar player, and Ben
Wolfe played bass; they were sans drummer on that tour.

It was the best live performance I've ever seen her give...
