It's been so long since she's been on that show. I wouldn't be surprised if she came back in the near future. Elvis is becoming a bit of a regular on it. (he did an episode back in Nov, I think).

Didn't make it last night. Had to get in some prep time for the on-going mid-Atlantic "Snowmageddon"

Will try to find out if Diana made appearance, but I'd really be surprised if she did. Not a great time to be in Minnesota, and she has to get ready for her down under adventure...

Hi, Coda --

Getting a little stir crazy, but we're fine thanks! I'm grateful that we didn't lose power, unlike quite a few areas. I suppose two feet isn't too much for where you live, but this storm rated as the 4th biggest on record here. With another storm coming in tomorrow, we should easily break the all time record for a single season.

This is a shot from yesterday (Sunday, that is). It was sunny, but the high temperature remained below freezing.

Beautiful picture! I bet it's pretty deep snow in that picture, though! I'm glad you have electricity. That makes it a little easier.

Two feet of snow would also be a lot in Michigan! We're in the midst of a snow storm right now, but the two-day forecast is for about 10 inches. We're used to the snowploughs and the salt trucks and the slow crawls on the road. But there's always a few people who think that the laws of physics don't apply to them, and they try to drive in snowstorms the way you'd drive here in summer.

This year, the Great Lakes area has dodged a lot of snow storms that whacked other areas -- like Texas and Arizona! Living there might also seem like living in Michigan year-round. We can get blazing hot summers and crazy-cold winters and everything in between.

Stay warm!

Thanks, Coda!

It's been quite a day today. We got socked with a second round of "Snowmageddon" and in some ways it was worse than the original. Less snowfall, but its been windy with near white out conditions. The precipitation appears to be over, but we're going to continue to have gusty winds. Since our street was never plowed after the last storm, its in even poorer condition now.

Sure am glad I haven't had to try to go to work. But this isn't a relaxing vacation! Expecting to be housebound until Friday at least. So far, we still have power
