That is awesome. I love Botti's trumpet, and well, it goes without saying about Diana. A good candidate for them to do together would be "The Look Of Love." At least I think I have heard Botti do it on the radio...
Hope I can go...

Just FOUR days now! The amphitheater is just a few miles from my place. NO WAY I would miss it!!

Chris Botti is a fantastic trumpet player and I hope they perform together some of the time.

Botti was in CT with DK, and ...

He was superb and the show ROCKED, both he and the Divine Ms. Diana. But no togetherness. NOTE: He does sign autographs during the intermission, which lasts maybe 25 mins. Buy your Botti schwag before the show (or bring it with - they overprice things at the venue), then get out FAST after his set to the line to get your Botti autograph before DK&Co. come onstage. The line forms fast and moves slow, and nobody wants to miss any of Diana's set.

Every day, to myself I say,
Point the way, what would it be?
I ask myself what's the best thing for you,
And myself and I seem to agree,
That the best thing for you would be me. ... :)

Just got back from the Atlanta show. Both Chris Botti and Diana were just great, but they did NOT perform together, which I think would have been an interesting experience. Chis Botti performed the first 50 minutes and started out with a stunning rendition of Ave Maria. I would have liked to have heard more.

Diana, was, of course, great! I think she performed more from her older CDs than from the new one. She performed several Nat King Cole songs including "Deed I Do" but not "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" like I had hoped. Perhaps the biggest surprise of the evening was Diana's rendition of the Bee Gees song "How Can You Mend a Broken Heart." She blew the original out of the water!

Diana was far more outgoing in this performance than she was in the 2004 performance. She is very happy about the twins arrival and joking about losing weight after the birth of the kids. I thought she looked fantastic.
