Here's what I think is a very fairly written review of the Jul. 8th concert from Jazz Times Magazine.

DK would probably be happy to read this particular passage - it seems Rosemary has taught her well!

When she spoke about her new family life [...] she could have been sitting around the kitchen with a few girlfriends[...]Unlike some serious jazzers, Krall exudes approachableness.

very enjoyable to read! I think one of the things I like about listening to Diana in addition to her interpretation of a song and how she makes you 'feel' the song so to speak, is her 'diction' as one would say; when she sings you can understand the words! I think this is also reflective of the influence of Rosemary Clooney. I am so excited about seeing her in August! Thanks scielle for posting!
