The price for Krall tickets will be $57 and $69.50 (plus a service charge of $10). Promoters from Krall's tour say a toonie from every concert ticket will be donated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Learned a new term today - toonie

Hi, Bud.
As you know, I'm not Canadian. But as a Yank living in a border state, I encounter Loonies (Canadian $1 coins) and Toonies (the $2 bi-metal coins) when we visit in Canada. I think they're interesting, but, of course, they're heavier in the wallet than the equivalent paper would be. I do like the colorful Canadian quarters with the red poppy (?) in the middle.

Just wondering: Do the Canadian members of this fan site like Loonies and Toonies or would you prefer going back to paper bills?
