TORONTO - For one night only, Diana Krall is taking on the big screen.

On May 20, the Vancouver-based jazz singer's "Diana Krall Live in Rio" concert will play at movie theatres across the country.

The November concert was shot with 11 high-definition cameras, and featured Brazilian orchestra conductor Ruria Duprat.

Krall released her 12th album, "Quiet Nights," in March, and is in the midst of a Canadian tour.

Advance tickets for the theatre screenings go on sale April 24, while the concert will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on May 26.
