Magic carpet?

Michelle...when you have nothing else to do, I have an oddball question. While I was eating lunch and watching a few songs from the new DVD from Montreal (which is really growing on me), it struck me that I always see a little rug under Diana's piano bench. Just wondering if it's the same rug...does Diana's road crew bring it to all/most of her gigs? Is it a little touch of home whereever Diana roams?

I am jumping in here and saying it is the same one hauled from concert to concert, probably to dampen the sound of Ms. Krall tapping her foot in stilleto heels. it would probably be distinct if there was no carpet. Her foot is always moving during those fast numbers I noticed... probably out of habit and to keep that great rhythm of hers. And it probably makes sense to have the same carpet with the same thickness/pile so there are no discrepancies.

i think i would tend to agree with you, Jeralee.... i wonder if one would check the video on the CD/DVD or maybe even the LiP DVD, if it would be the same carpet ?...... i will have to take a look !...

I have to say, i love those stilleto heals though !!...

I am not 100% sure, but I believe that carpet travels on the road to every concert. It's probably part of the "equipment".
