A little late for opening day but my life has been crazy! anyway...................'why not us!'...........this is our new motto for Mariner baseball; why not if it's good enough for the Seahawks, then why not!
A nice start for us, with the exception to last night's game and in all honesty it was not a 'bad' game and I think could have had a different ending...........had some of the worst homeplate balls/strike calls ever (one example: when the pitcher, catcher, and hitter all consider ball a strike and start to walk off thinking it's the end of the inning and umpire calls ball!) ...............and now I find out the umpire was a fill in and up from AAA. That's baseball right? Anyway on to the next game today!

Yeah, I noticed the Mariners are off to a good start. Solid pitching, right? That's what wins ballgames.

Though it's extremely early, and I could be very wrong, I think the NL West will be an LA-SF race. The Dodgers go to Phone Company Park this week for a 3-game set. Despite the good start, LA's rotation is hurting without Kershaw (15-day DL), who usually OWNS the orange-and-black devils. Don't think even Bud would dispute that.
