ATA (Airline) Bankruptcy

Postby Bud on 05 Apr 2008, 23:37

Bummer. I had tickets on ATA to go to Hawaii in July

Wish me luck on getting my money back! Actually, they were paid for by credit card so I should have recourse.

Bummer.

To put it mildly, these are interesting times we're living in. (Frankly, I could use a bit more boredom...)

Yes, Coda, the old Chinese curse is very much in effect.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune, Bud. I may be flying to Hawaii come August. I'll be careful of the airline I choose!

Every day, to myself I say,
Point the way, what would it be?
I ask myself what's the best thing for you,
And myself and I seem to agree,
That the best thing for you would be me. ... :)

Thanks Coda and Chris - Sure would be nice to slow down and take a breadth once in awhile!

Good luck on your Hawaii trip, Chris. With the options dwindling, seems like United is the way to go for now... Bud

Hey Bud,
I flew United to Kauai two years ago. Decent fare. Overall, not bad. Of course, none of the carriers are that bad...until they screw you. And if you fly enough, eventually they all do.
