Eating Out on Halloween

Postby Bud on 01 Nov 2008, 14:49

Having recently become empty-nesters, my wife and I decided to try out a small, nearby Italian restaurant we'd never been to, rather than pass out candy to the trick-or-treaters (if you're not in the States and this isn't making any sense, please let me know!).

As we sat down at our table, Let's Face the Music and Dance was playing. Then, about 5 songs later, All or Nothing At All - the restaurant had "The Very Best of..." in its CD player! During the evening I also remember hearing Peel Me a Grape, Only The Lonely, and Fly Me to the Moon.

Perfect night, because the food and atmosphere were top notch too. We'll definitely go back again!

That's great, Bud! It's always nice to hear Diana's music out in public.

I had a similar experience on Oct. 26th. I was attending an event in Chicago, a breakfast function, and Diana's "Live in Paris" soundtrack was playing in the background while we were eating. After the speeches and presentations, I started hearing tracks from "All for You." It was wonderful.
