Thanks, Remi, for all you've done over the years, and "picking up the ball" and running with it after the previous forum closed. I understand these sites are a labor of love and can take a lot of free time to maintain, so it's understandable when people may need to realign their time commitments.
I know traffic on the site has slowed down over the years, so your decision is very understandable. In my opinion, I think the change occurred because of several factors. First, all of us fans have different time availability than we did ten-plus years ago. Second, after Diana got married and started a family, she's done fewer interviews overall. Obviously, her priorities have changed as well. And as she's become more well known, perhaps her publicity people haven't urged her to do as much as press as she did before 2003. So there have been fewer articles to post and discuss here. And with the advent of YouTube, we can now see videos of Diana that were much harder to view in the early 2000s...so we could find them and view them here.
Also, thanks, Bud, for moderating the site as well over the last several years. I appreciate your efforts to keep things going here. I've made a lot of virtual friends through this site over the years, and I've particularly enjoyed reading the concert reviews from fellow fans

and having a place to share my concert reviews with people who I know would understand what I wrote about!

I'll be sad to see the site go, but I'm also happy that we fans will have something to look forward to with the new album slated for this fall. I'm glad that Diana is trying different things, whether it's the upcoming pop album, or her behind-the-scenes involvement with producing for Barbra Streisand and Paul McCartney, or her unconventional stage production for the Glad Rag Doll tour.
Maybe we'll all still find another way to reconnect "on the flip side" of the site closure!
Love to all of our fan members!
