Ok, this is really weird......

*Picture this* It is 5 am. I have been at work since 6:30pm. I am aimlessly surfing the internet and listening to my launchcast station on yahoo. I begin reading about a bigfoot sighting near where I live (within 30 miles) and then "Big Foot" from Stepping Out starts playing...talk about coincidence.

Maybe it is time for a nap before I go home........

I am a big bad security guard at a nuclear power facility. Sometimes I run the switchboard and answer the phones, send pages, etc...so over in the wee hours of the morning, no-one calls or rarely needs to page someone, so I surf...read...whatever I need to do to stay alert.

I wasn't hallucinating, although I did do a double take to make sure what I was hearing was what I was hearing. By the way, the big foot incident happened a few miles from where my parents live and where we used to camp when I was a kid before they built a house there, but that was waaaaaaay before I heard of Diana Krall...

That night I was on the switchboard...nothing to see but a phone, a computer, and a door on the other end of the room...no windows, gunports or big red buttons to press should something go amiss. When I am at positions where there is something to see, then you can be sure I am paying attention...you can be sure of that. You never know when Mr. NRC will pop in to say hello to you personally...rest assured that there is plenty of incentive to stay alert.

East coast, by the way...that's about as close as I will post the state I am in. It is not that I don't trust you, but this is the world wide web, and I am certain that any computer communications in and out are monitored by the folks in our IT department and I don't want to get in hot water by talking specifics... but you can probably figure it out if you dig a little
