The most beautiful women (and men) of the world

Postby Rémi on 10 Nov 2004, 21:33

Finally, a man's thread on this board!

I recently watched a stupid show on TV which was called "The 50 Most Beautiful Women of the World". 1002 french people have been polled in order to choice who was the most beautiful woman of the world. (which means that the list is absolutely not representative of the "general" opinion).
Anyway, the results (for the top 10) were:

10- Sharon Stone
9- Emmanuelle Béart
8- Catherine Deneuve
7- Carole Bouquet
6- Claire Chazal (TV news presenter)
5- Sophie Marceau
4- Julia Roberts

3- Corinne Touzet (TV actress)

2- Isabelle Adjani

And #1 (but I guess some of you may know it)

1- Monica Bellucci

Strange top 10, you're gonna say... And I would agree with you (6 french women in the list is a bit much...). But as I said, it's a top made by french only.

Anyway, even if it's completely stupid, that list gave me an idea.

What are, in your opinion, the most beautiful celebrity women (and men) of the world?

Here is mine.
But before you give your choice, here are some restrictions.
1- It's obvious Diana can't be in the top list, else it would be too easy!
2- Vote for a celebrity (means no "mother", "wife", "father", husband")

If that's OK, we can start.

The most beautiful women according to Rémi:

#3 - Laetitia Casta

Aaah Laetitia... Sincerely, is there anything to say about our little french girl, queen of supermodels...

#2- Jennifer Love Hewitt

Hot babe. And when your name is Love, it can't be otherwise!

#1 - Sharon Stone

Another blonde... Even today at more than 4... years old, she is sexier than ever.
Sharon Stone: blonde, luscious - but extremely clever (IQ 154) -... and now a single!

As for the men, well... I have vainly thought of who could be in the top list, I only found 1 (but what a man!).

The Class, all simply.

And you, what's your choice?

Hmm......

I will start with men first, that is a little easier.

I have always been fascinated by Alan Rickman ( I know, he is old) but I thought he was rather dapper in "sense and Sensibility"

Jim Caviezel

Orlando Bloom - like those eyes and the curly hair ( actually, the eyes always draw me in first on any actor)

George Clooney

Billy Boyd ( once again, for his eyes)

Women: ( according to my husband)
Catherine Zeta-Jones
Salma Heyack
Halle Berry
Charlize Theron

My picks for women: Andrea Parker ( From less than perfect)
Julianna Margulies ( used to be on E.R. )
Scarlet Johansson

That is all I can think of right now... I will have to give it some more though.
