I've just been introduced to this wine, and am enjoying it alot. It has a coming out party of sorts on the 3rd Thursday of November every year.

Yes, the Beaujolais is not a bad wine, very fruity and very affordable.

It is coming out every year on fall during the first harvests and it's always a great pleasure for us to celebrate it!
The beaujolais nouveau is the first wine of the season, that's why it's called "nouveau" (new).
