To all Canadians who visit this site, Happy Canada Day!

In Detroit, we celebrate the close holidays shared by the US and Canada with the spectacular Freedom Festival fireworks show over the Detroit River, which is shared by the two countries. The annual fireworks show was last night. (I think the fireworks should be between July 1st and July 4th, but I don't run it. I just enjoy watching it.)

Maybe it's just due to my recent visit to Canada, but I very much enjoyed the city of Vancouver, the people, and the sites, and would like to add a heartfelt 'Happy Canada Day' to all of my new friends to the North....
