Fan Club ticket ordering

Postby jazzygal karla on 06 Apr 2009, 02:05

Just curious if anyone' s had any negative experiences with the pre-sale dibs we get on tickets to DK's concerts if we're members of the fanclub. I didn't specify a 'will call' when I ordered mine, and the e-mail confirmation informed me I should have my ticket in the mail the week prior to the concert. Then I got a follow-up email telling me my ticket would be available at the ticket office, and that I'd need to provide picture ID...

:sigh:

Am I being overly paranoid about this? You can see where my mind is going with this... I show up the night of the concert and get told no such ticket is being held for me...

 :? :censured:

Can anyone assuage my unfounded fears?

I've never had a negative experience once the tickets have been purchased. In the past my problems have been with the pre-sale passwords (I've had to re-register with dkrall.com every single time) and the glitchy on-line ticketing system itself. But this time around, everything went smooth.

If you're really worried about the will call (I wouldn't be), just show up at the will call window early and bring your receipt in case there are any problems.

My experience matches mapache61. I've never had a problem with any ticket order.

Thanks to you both. The only problem is that my 'receipt' is just an on-line emailed confirmation. I mean, I got a confirmation #... I guess I hope that would be enough coupled with the other requirements stipulated... Ehhh. I'm think I really am just being paranoid.

Although, the 2nd thing that's bothering me is that I ordered 'Quiet Nights' at the same time I bought my ticket, as well as a donation the that heart healthy charity... and I've yet to receive my CD in the mail. I'd have bought it the very day it was released if I'd known it was going to take longer than a week. :anger:
