I loved this interview, especially Mark Stryker's knowledge of jazz and his probing into Sonny Rollins' style and process for improvising. I also love Rollins' humility.

Thanks for the post Coda - I realize I'm a little late in responding to it!

I must admit when I first saw Sonny's name appear that my reaction was "Is he still alive?" I'm glad to know that he is.

Its sad that there are so few of the greats left from that era. Who are they? McCoy Tyner comes to mind.
