Ali Larter is Diana Krall . . . and she knows it, too!

I have long claimed that there is a strong resemblance between actress Ali Larter and Diana Krall, and I know that several of you agree. Karla provides compelling evidence in her recent thread Ali Larter Sighting. Now I'm convinced of it.

Last night on "Heroes", Ms. Larter's character did a love scene and the soundtrack playing was Diana Krall singing "The Girl in the Other Room." (If you're familiar with the show, the song with the scene put an interesting spin on the meaning of the lyrics.) Coincidence? I think not.

In fact, I'd wager that people have told Larter that she looks like DK.

I think Tatum is too old to play DK in a movie. There is a resemblance in those pictures, but I think Larter is a closer match.

I have a new nominee for Diana look-a-like: Lucinda Williams.

I just returned from a special show of Annie Liebovitz's pictures of American musicians at the Detroit Institute of Arts. I think that Liebovitz's portrait of Lucinda Williams standing outside next to her pick-up truck looks quite a bit like Diana in some portraits.

Sure, this looks more like DK, but there's also a lot of shadows on the face, which allows your imagination more room to draw a connection between the two people.

I think the resemblance is minimal and basic, such as they are both white women with blonde hair.

I still think some of the best evidence for Ali-as-Diana can be seen in the movie Legally Blonde.

Ms. Larter appears in both.
