Hi All:

I just entered a link for dianakrallfans.com in Diana's Wikipedia entry, referencing this as a "popular fan site." Thought you'd like to know.

-CS, wishing he could see some of those West Coast shows, which sound LOVELY!
Every day, to myself I say,
Point the way, what would it be?
I ask myself what's the best thing for you,
And myself and I seem to agree,
That the best thing for you would be me. ... :)

Actually, we were on the Wikipedia page for quite some time. It was deleted (along with several others) because of an interpretation of Wikipedia guidance: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:External_links

One really nifty capability of wikis is being able to view any previous version of an article. Here's one historical page where you can see the links: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?tit ... d=89938715

Thanks for editing the wiki! We'll see what happens this time - there may be some things we can do help it stay on, such as making sure its known that there is a reference to dianakrallfans.com on Diana's official site...

Wow, what a tiresome guidance!

Hi Bud:

Thanks for the follow up. I think the Wikipedia guidance is overdrawn and tiresome, though I am sure they have their reasons. I personally believe sites like this one (murmurs.com is an excellent one for REM fans) provide an excellent resource for fans. The fans can network and pass on reviews and news relating to tours, as well as sharing perspectives on the music and the performer(s). I think Wikipedia is off-base if they do not allow for linking to sites such as this for just those reasons. Of course, it is easy enough to Google or Yahoo "Diana Krall" to find a site like this, but I think Wikipedia should allow such links.

Cheers, and thanks for the follow up, Bud.
