ok....i am the first to admit when there's a band wagon that i like i jump both feet...no holds barred....go out and buy like ten copies of the cd...

Its worth whatever you have to pay to hear her sing Leanord Cohen's Hallelujah.

Its her edition of the GREAT Canadian songbook...and while listening to it i felt exceptionally sentimental about the true north strong and free. she does joni mitchell, leanord cohen, jane siberry, ron sexsmith, and more. every person who loves great music needs this album.
If you have a love of Canada--go buy it. If you even remotely like KD go buy it. Number 1 selling album in Canada this week. Admittedly her Case of You not as enjoyable as Diana's. But no one can deny the fact that her's is a voice that will go down in history!

Yes, yes, yes! You must all invest in this record. Bring on the Great Canadian Songbook. Forget Celine, Shania, Avril... This is the sort of music that makes you feel proud to be Canadian, baby! (Though I must say that the Rufus Wainwright version of Hallelujah is still the definitive one as far as I'm concerned.)

i will join in the hype.... i am listening to this CD as I write - for the 10th time !!!..... her takes on the 2 Neil Young songs are wonderful !!!!

Very much a 'must buy'.... along with Ray Charles' new CD and, of course, DK, others are having a hard time working into the CD rotation in my system !!!!
