After all these years, I've finally bought Sade's 'Diamond Life' album (the one that contained the ubiquitous 'Smooth Operator'). I'm listening to the closing track, 'Why Can't We Live Together'.
"You never know when she's going to come in for an avocado." - Diana Krall, on The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn

Steve Greenlee: Ali Larter, the actress who plays Niki on the show (Heroes), could be your twin sister. She looks just like you.

Diana Krall: Poor thing.

Sade's perfomance DVD from a Paris concert is very nice. I recommend.

When I went for my walk today, I was listening to Diana Krall's "Best of..." I really love "You Go to My Head."

Jann Arden - album 'Uncover Me'. If you don't recognize the name, Jann was the lady who interviewed Diana at the train station concert when her 'GITOR' album came out. Album has 'At Seventeen', 'Solitaire', 'Son of a Preacher Man' and many other hits from the 60's and 70's on it. I found it by chance on Amazon and had liked Jann's song 'Insensitive' from several years ago and had seen her last year when she opened for Michael Buble in concert. Nice album. :)

Do you like Michael Buble, Sue? I have a greatest hits album of his and really like "Kissing a Fool" and some of the other numbers. I find him a prodigious vocal talent but perhaps not possessed of the subtlety and insight with which Diana is blessed. I'm curious to hear you take on him.

Cheers,

This ask is not for me (I know) and even though I know bit, I must say that I like his music very much.

Do you know his cover of Bee Gees "How Can You Mend My Broken Heart"?

Hi Chris,

last week I dowloaded Buble's album (Michael Bublé - 2003) and at last I've listened the song "Kissing a Fool". It's great!
If you want listen it, I can show you a website where you'll access and choose something to listen. It's free and legal

(This include Diana Krall and Mr. Bublé, for example).

Sam:

Kissing a Fool is by far my favorite Michael Buble song. Wonderful stuff. One of the finer things I've had the pleasure to hear, and on a par with Diana's best stuff.

Yes Chris, it's a great song...

Right now, I'm listening "Cry Me a River" - Diana Krall. This song have a sweet rhythm and Diana seems to be so introspective, and... Well, In fine, love this song.
