Going to NY tomorrow to see 1st DK Concert on the 24th

This is my first post. I have been reading (lurking I guess you would say) on this board for over a year, but never posted.

I am very excited to be going to NY to see my 1st DK concert. I cannot wait.

Yep! Am in NY as I type this. Went to Blue Note last night, and saw Terri Lyne Carrington at the Charlier Parker Jazz Fest earlier today, and Bob Dorough at Iridium (yes, THE Bob Dorough- he played Devil May Care, said how he signed away the rights to that song, then enventually got them back but made nothing on it until Diana recorded it and then Ka-Ching!... ) He's one funny guy, and really a gentleman. He made his rounds of the room, made sure to chat with everyone, shake hands...really great show. You should check it out if you're ever here. Sundays 11-3pm at Iridium. Yay! Can't wait till Tuesday, and sending hugs and kisses from Broadway and 42nd,
